I use this to break up lumps on my hot cereals. You see, we make a whole pot of Oatmeal or Cream of Wheat at a time, to save time. Each morning, I scoop enough for my breakfast out of the tupperware and microwave it for a minute. Then I use the masher to break it up --just takes a minute! --add milk, and microwave it again. Does a great job.
