I rated the product this way because when I got home my son wanted to open it right away. Everything was inside the box like it says. We were able to pick up some batteries from the nearest store and once we were home we set up the tracks and the Thomas train. All the pieces were there and nothing was missing. The train turned on and it was working properly when we placed it onto the tracks. It works great and my son really enjoys his new toy. I will definitely be buying more of these products because we love trains.
