When mixed with hot or cold, thick or thin liquids and pureed foods, this powder produces any desired consistency quickly, easily and controllably. Best of all, it does so without changing the taste or appearance of the liquids and foods it thickens. Thick-It's thickening powder is formulated to help prevent dehydration, because it does not bind fluids. This 10-oz jar of instant food and beverage thickener is designed to last and can easily produce liquids with varying levels of consistency, allowing you to adjust to suit your needs. Thickening powder is widely endorsed by medical and care professionals as a way to assist people suffering from dysphagia to eat and drink without issue.

Do not use Thick-It Instant Food and Beverage Thickener with infants born before 37 weeks gestation. Thick-It Instant Food and Beverage Thickener should only be used with infants and newborns in consultation with a physician. 1. Scoop and level off recommended amount of Thick-It Instant Food and Beverage Thickener using enclosed measuring spoon. 2. Slowly Add Thick-It Instant Food and Beverage Thickener to the liquid while stirring briskly with a spoon, fork or whisk until thickener has dissolved. Let thickened liquid stand 30 seconds to 1 minute to achieve desired consistency and serve. When mixed with milk or nutritional supplement drink, stir briskly, let stand 5 to 10 minutes, stir and serve. Dispose of unused Thick-It Infant Food and Beverage Thickener in trash receptacle and not in sink.
