Thermos Steel Vacuumware 16 oz Food Jar

I bought this Thermos for my husband, as he doesn't have a microwave in his work truck and I wanted him to be able to have something warm to eat with his lunch(especially living in Chicago during the winter). I packed his soup in this Thermos at 0600 and he didn't eat his lunch until 1400, and when he told me that it was STILL WARM, I couldn't have been happier!! I am now going to order him the bigger size and give this one to our youngest, so that she can have a warm lunch in school.

It states keep hot foods hot for 7 hours and cold food cold for 9 hours (if I remember correctly) and it's the truth! I warmed some soup on the stove top, and put it in this Thermos. Then I put it in my daughter's lunch box. The outside of the container is completely 100% cool to the touch. She has a severe food allergy to nuts, and so she can not eat, drink, have snacks, or have any meals provided at her public school, and I really wanted her to be able to have a nice, warm, hearty, bowl of beef and vegetable soup by Campbells that she loves! Anyway, lol, she came home from school and complained that the soup was too hot to eat at lunch time, even though I had put it into the container very early into the morning when I first woke up (two hours before school even starts)! Very impressive! Thank you for making this excellent product! It is a wonderful blessing to have for my daughter so I can send her healthy, warm meals during the cold winter months! God bless!
