I have a smooth top electric top, for me and cast-iron is not an option as I find the chance of scratching too high with the cast iron. This grill is mid/ lightweight, but not frail. It is perfectly designed to not warp, just remember to not ever turn it on high as with most pans. Stay cool handles. The price compared to others is excellent and a much better quality in this price range.

I had bought an electric griddle but the temperature kept messing up and not staying hot. Decided to buy this and so happy I did!! Sturdy, beautiful, super non stick. We still use avacado oil but that’s just to increase the longevity of it. Also bulk baking is so easy with this! We make pancakes ahead and freeze them so school day breakfasts are a breeze!
