Lovely and practical.
This set was sent to a friend who really loves the colorful floral designs on the coated sharp blades. For steak knives she prefers this blade length of 4 1/2 inches instead of 5 inch blades, so not too short and not too long. The soft touch handles are contoured and thick, which makes them wonderful to hold. The butterflies on the bolster are a lovely design touch and also help with gripping. These might not be for a formal dinning setting, but I'd sure have them a my Thanksgiving table.
