My new favorite knife!!!

Pioneer woman 6 inch nakiri knife in the color teal. I'm just going to start at the very beginning and say that you need this knife in your kitchen, seriously!!! My husband and I love to cook and bake and this knife has become our #1 everyday use. I'm going to get another one because we both love it that much! Very well made heavy duty forged handle, the grip in your hand is so comfortable that it feels like the knife was specially made just for you. We have cut potatoes, celery, onions, carrots, cabbage, etc and its so smooth like cutting through butter and very little (if any) sticks to the blade. I have watched Ree Drummond use this exact knife on her show and always wondered if my eyes were playing tricks on me, but its real people. The blade is high carbon stainless steel with a tempered grind edge and hash marks. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of sleeve/sheath to protect it while its stored but we wrap it in a micro fiber dish cloth. Will absolutely get more, I hope their are other sizes too, would love to have one in a smaller size. Very, very pleased with this knife. Way to go Pioneer Women!!!!!!

My new favorite kitchen knife!

The Pioneer Woman makes some really beautiful looking cookware and cooking accessories, but this signature nakiri knife has got to be the prettiest by far. This 6.5 knife is not only beautiful, but extremely useful in the kitchen. I don't know that I'll ever use any of my other knives again. The precision sharp stainless steel blade cuts so quickly, and easily, I found myself using it for cutting meats, dicing vegetables, and slicing cheese and fruit. The blade just glides through anything allowing you to cut as thick, or thin as you desire. I love to use fruit, especially lemon, on broiled fish. Preparing super thin slices of lemon was effortless. Works the same for vegetables, too. I loved how this knife feels. The design, and balance, makes it easy to have total control of this knife as you prepare your meal. I am by no means a professional chef, but this knife handles so nicely it makes you feel like one. It actually made food preparation easy and fun! I highly recommend this knife to anyone who cooks - novice or professional.
