Totally pleased.

I considered the woman's Apex Bionic jacket at first. But after reading reviews I learned that the 'updated style' was not liked by very many people. So I looked into the Risor instead. I am very happy with this jacket... although only 3 colors were available, grey, black, white. (Got the black) It isn't as tapered at the waist as the Bionic, but I like this style even better. I have plenty of room for underneath garments. (I am 5'2"/122 lbs and ordered the medium) It's so easy to wear while driving, not bulky at all. It's totally warm, even in our freezing northern N.M. weather. I've worn it in snowy weather & it's perfect. I have no complaints.. would definitely buy this jacket again.

This jacket is North Face-tastic!!!!

The jacket fits very comfortably over a compression turtleneck and 1/4 zip shirt. The stretch allows it to move with me as I ski or....fall And the material keeos me dry, despite wet, heavy snow and windy conditions!!!! Love the color and would definitely add others to my collection!

Great Softshell Jacket

I love how breathable it feels while I'm biking, I don't feel like I'm a steaming potato! Got this jacket for my bike commute in Boston, MA. It's held up great down to the low thirties, haven't tried it yet in below-freezing weather. It totally holds up against the wind! It was hard to find a good, breathable jacket in plus sizes. The XXL fits with a light sweatshirt underneath. I'm usually a size 18 and wear a 40DDD bra. Would recommend for bike commuting!
