Great look book

I bought this for my daughters 10th birthday and she loves it. She wants to be a designer and has already sketched many cute outfits using the models. I'll be buying a couple more of these soon.

MUST READ REVIEW!

I bought two of these and really like them mainly because I can't draw people but I only use one side of the paper (images are printed on both) because I use watercolor pencils when I make my designs and I don't want it to effect the other side of the paper so I get less templates but I guess that's my choice. I also prefer the larger images where there are two poses to a page. There are only a handful of these until you get to the smaller four to a page that are all in the same pose on a page before it gives you another. There seem to be many more of these and they become useless to me but I give them to my daughters and niece to create outfits with. Also, the thing this sketchpad likes to advertise is that the images are made with some kind of special ink that don't copy or scan. I found this to be untrue. I have a simple Epson NX420 All-in-one printer and the lines of the templates do show up under the clothes when I scan them on the computer for my digital portfolio, especially when creating dresses or anything that's in a light color. I added a photo without showing you the whole design where you can see the legs through the dress. This was upsetting because I went through a whole book before I figured this out but found a way to get around it. Simply take an eraser meant for pen ink (because it's more abrasive) and go over the lines you don't want to show through the clothes. I found this to work best for me without completely destroying the paper or having to remove the line manually after their scanned with a photo program. It's a great sketchpad to have if you're a serious designer or just starting out. Also has potential for more copies to be made if the lines can really be scanned but I haven't tried that.
