falling short on delivery

the delivery person was supposed to to ring the apartment number to be let in to the building and then deliver it to that apartment. My articles were left outside of the security doors and could have been picked up by anyone resident or not. I am sorry to be angry but why ask for delivery instructions if someone is just opening a door and leaving them. This is not acceptable and I would like it addressed immediately.
