The beans are clean and uniform with no chaff trash in the bag. They are in a high quality bag with very functional resealable zip-sytle seal. Bag is thick and vacuum sealed. Pull tab for easy opening of bag. Roast is closer to a medium-dark roast. More than half of beans are medium dark and the other are a true medium roast. Surprisingly, some fruity notes stand out despite the darkness of the roast. Probably the mediums peaking through the darkness. However, overall this coffee leans to the smooth chocolatey and slightly earthy side of the flavor profile. No bitterness. Nothing really stands out. Just a good all-around coffee.

a good cup of coffee must be made from scratch. a pleasant aroma coffee , a good coffee bean hand manual grinder, 1 cup at a time. it's a nice big bag of whole beans, top to bottom no air pocket. all bean. I tried it black, tried with creamer, tried with real Cane sugar. tried with creamer and sugar, a great cup of Joe is old school simple. taste good sipping hot from a saucer %26 smell like Grandma's kitchen at 5:00am. that morning coffee smell fills every room. cost a little bit more but there's a reason why. it tastes old fashioned %26 delicious. ( black with a shot of fresh honey my favorite )
