TetraFauna ReptoFilter Filter Cartridge refills work effectively to keep water crystal clear and remove s from terrarium water. These disposable filter cartridges are tough on debris – Ultra-Activated carbon absorbs s and discoloration, and dense, dual-sided mesh catches debris and waste. They’re convenient, fully assembled and ready to use. Use these medium-sized filters with TetraFauna ReptoFilter 20 gallon, Viquarium™ and Decorative ReptoFilter. Replacing cartridges is fast and easy. Rinse the cartridge under cold water to remove carbon dust, then remove the TetraFauna ReptoFilter lid and insert the cartridge into “V” slots and slide it all the way down into the filter. Replace when water begins to backflow over the top of the clogged cartridge. TetraFauna products are trusted by pet owners to meet the needs of their exotic animals. Happy Red Eared Sliders
I love that these filters come ready to use, no assembly required. I have students cleaning the turtle tanks, and this is something they can do easily. The cost one these was much more reasonable than the medium fish filters used in the same turtle tank. The tank uses two, which are changed weekly in the warmer seasons. The filters have really removed a lot of the fishy smell from the tank.

They work great! But need option to buy bigger box
This is a simple request: PLEASE make the option of buying a bigger box than a 3 count!! It's such a waste of materials. I'm having to buy like 5 seperate boxes instead of a 15 count which I would LOVE! My turtles are very messy and yes I rinse the filters after a week and a half and get another week out of them which is great but I don't want to have to go out and buy a new box every 3 weeks (my filter uses 2 of them) I want to have them so I don't run out! Being a busy mom it would help a lot!
