The best 1200 in the world

The best turntable that i've ever had, and i had allmost 30 decks in my hi-fi joureny... Outperforms even X3 and X4 of it's price. If you have the money - do it. You work hard and you live only once.

How could you ask for anything more?

I have owned the SL 1210 GR for 4 years now. I can't say anything bad about it. I operate this turnatable with 2 cartridges: Hana Umami Blue (MC) and an Ortofon Black LVB 250 (MM) with a Shibata on a boron cantilever. It is easy to spot and enjoy the difference between these 2 magnificent cartridges. That to me demonstrates how neutral and transparent the SL 1210 GR is. The table speed is constant to a fault. Silence while operating is well below perceived levels, even when your amplifier and phono stage are dishing out 90+ db's. And I listen to classical chamber music and small jazz ensembles. Loudly. If the recording is good the SL2210 GR comfortably steps up and reproduces with ease and beauty.
