This heater does quite well heating my 5 gallon aquarium. I like the feature that allows me to set the temperature of the water and also tells me what the water temperature is. It also has a protective bottom in case it falls. Also it will no explode if it gets to hot. It arrived quickly. I am very much pleased with this product.
