This is a Tamiya 24107 1/24 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 VX Limited. Toyota's Land Cruiser is a name familiar to millions across the world. Delving back into its storied history, the 80 series was a rebooting of the range which took place in October 1989. It featured a bulked up body with a great deal more curves than Land Cruiser owners had previously been treated to, but just as importantly, off-road performance had been overhauled too, thanks to a newly-designed chassis and coil sprung suspension that ensured a smooth ride even on rough off-road surfaces. This monster was the first domestic Japanese car to offer a full-time 4WD transmission, a fact that helped endear it to many.
