Takara Beyblade Driger A-124

unquestionably a 10 out of ten purchase. packaged well and it even got here ahead of the projected delivery date. This is an old collectors item. I however am a very hands on collector and wanted to actually use this beyblade. This particular generation was packaged with the ripcord at a very harsh angle, couple that with time and the original ripcord was broken. This seller must have anticipated this, as there was a spare packaged in a different part of the box as a bonus. It's no understatement that this was life saving as I don't have spares for this particular build of beyblade. as for the quality of the bey itself, it's aged like wine. It also helps that driger looks good in black, and the overall color scheme meshes really well throughout ever aspect of the build. Sturdy takara metal and plastic that could have been made yesterday if not for the teltale signs of oxidation on the metal that hint at its age. stickers are fully functional, no yellowing, still work great. The plastic case itself has some very minor yellowing. (A miracle that it's so little for this type of plastic for those unaware.) for anyone curious about it's combat performance, it's strikes me as a bit aggressive for a balance type and the oval shape of the attack blade lent itself well to knocking out some of my lighter mfb beys in testing. And as always with hms beys, it's got the capability to spin in both directions thanks to the launcher which has held up surprisingly well. I wouldn't test it against anything heavier; This is my first hms bey and I have no baseline for how durable they are. it's also worth noting the attack blade has some fairly thin outer walls you would never see in any later gen, regardless of them being made by hasbro or takara. The pictures are of the case, blade alone, full beyblade and launcher, as well as a final comparison of the spare cord given free compared to the original smaller cord that broke (Which I hastily glued together for ease of viewing.) Absolute perfection. I'll be going out of my way to buy from this seller again.
