we use these canned fruit fillings primarily for making homemade pop tarts, a little goes a long way. there has been large pieces of actual fruit, the taste has not been compromised by the can. an easy go to, keep on hand these fillings have many uses. I've used for strudel, crisps and toppings, have only made a pie once using this but came out great. as long as the product doesn't change I'll continue to purchase. I highly recommend especially if you make fruity treats from scratch.

I typically prefer fresh to canned but this attracted my eye because I was short on time to prepare my dessert and it was advertised to contain "more fruit" so I thought I'd give it a try. I was impressed that it did have a lot of fruit (compared to other canned fillings) and was very flavorful. I will certainly purchase this again and will even try some of the other fruits available.
