Easier canning
This is a great way to can using your stock pot instead of a canner. Keep in mind that it won't accommodate a quart size jar, unless you have a taller than average stock pot.

Good value for price
It was great to get all the canning tools in one place , and I feel the price is quite reasonable. The included pectin 4 jars was great. Just enough for a small batch of jam. The mat that's included is a great idea, and lets you use any deep pot to process, so there's no need to invest in an expensive water-bath pot until you find out if you're going to keep canning or jam making.

Excellent starter kit!
Great kit that has everything you need to can for the first and it is shipped in a very sturdy box so you don't have to worry about anything breaking.
