To start off with, yes, putting together furniture takes time. If you're such an impatient child that you can't set aside a handful of hours, (1-3 hours depending on your skill level of putting furniture together) then go buy the cheap Furinno Turn-N-Tube product that even 13 year olds could put together in 10 minutes. The assembly instructions pamphlet: So, at first glance it's a little confusing because the instructions have every size they sell for this table all in one little book. You're probably going to search until you find this table (the 70 inch one) in the book and then be lost because it seems to have skipped a bunch of steps. Also, the wooden parts do not go from 1-12 for the labeling, so don't worry about that if it seems like they are skipping parts (like putting piece 8 to piece 10 while there not being a piece 7 at all, etc). For this 70 inch stand you are going to need to make 2 separate 35.4 inch units and then connect them with the legs (labelled 1 and 2). You need to start on the Installation Steps 7. Which is the page right after the "What's in the box" for the 35.4 inch unit page, and build until Installation Steps 13 page. After finishing the first half, go back to Steps 7 and repeat until Steps 13. Make sure to take your time and pay very close attention to the pictures, just so you don't have to go back and redo anything. So, now you have 2 35 inch TV stands. While they are upside down, slide them together and now look at Steps 16 page. This page simply tells you how you should connect the legs (Parts 1 and 2) to the left and right ends, but NOT the middle where the table needs to be connected, those instructions are on the next page, Steps 17. The only difference from the end legs and the middle legs (All legs are Parts 1 and 2) is that the middle legs use 4 cam bolts to connect both tables, rather than only 2 cam bolts used on the left and right end legs. Also, for Steps 17 page, the graphic shows them connecting a 23 inch table to a 35 inch table. Do not worry. The process is the exact same for connecting the 2 35 inch tables together. Overall, it is not a difficult table to set up. You just need to pay attention, and not rush it. Also, I think someone reviewed that this was cheap material, which I find really odd seeing as it is strictly just planks of wood, so they are either confused or lying, and also apparently not very skilled at furniture assembly. The quality of this table is 100% fine, if not much better than what I expected for the price and size of this table.
