This kettle is pretty to look at and its blue light while in use is stunning as well. It's large enough to make several cups while keeping the water hot without having to reheat for each cup. Well made kettle, hope it lasts

It boils water quickly. I like that the on/off switch is on top of the handle instead of on the bottom. Hope this helps extend the life of the electric kettle. I owned a couple electric kettles in the past, they both worked well initially, but within a year, the on/off switch on the bottom no longer worked, and I suspect that perhaps water leaked into the bottom of the kettle and messed up the electrical parts. Let's see how well this kettle holds up over time. So far so good.
