Works as it should

Mosquitos are terrible in florida, especially living on a lake. This is so nice for my deck as it helps keep them out. The candle smells like a citronella candle should smell and does exactly what its supposed to do. The tin jar its in is cute too and goes well with my patio furniture.

Essential oil candle to keep mosquitoes at bay

The mosquito repellent candle I got is in a beautiful tin with a groovy design on the outside of it. The design is mint in color. The tin contains 11 ounces of candle repellent. The tin itself is approximately 3 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. The repellent does not use citronella. Instead, it uses essential oils. The oils in the wax are germinal, clove oil, and corn mint oil.The combination of oils gives it a fragrant scent they call summer scent. However, the most dominant oil I smell is clove so it is reminding me of fall weather instead of summer. To me, it is a heavier scent verses a light fresh scent for summer that I was expecting. It is still a lovely scent overall. It says the candle will repel mosquitos within a 7 foot area. So you would need only one candle for your four seating tables and two or more candles for larger outdoor tables. Hopefully, this candle will also keep the gnats at bay as well. I love the idea of natural oils being used. The only drawback is you cannot reuse the tin and according to the label, it is recommended to throw it away.

Mosquito control

Very nice decorative tin with lid, one wick candle. You can smell the essential oils and they are not too over powering. Perfect to keep the mosquitoes at bay in summer time. 30 hour burn time so it will last awhile, pack it up and take it camping, fishing on just use on your porch.
