T-fal Easy Care Nonstick Cookware, Covered One Egg Wonder Fry Pan, 4.5 inch, Black

This is our second T-fal non-stick 13.25 inch pan (first replacement for this size). We use it often and it lasted us about 6 years before needing replacement. The non-stick surface is fantastic, clean up is amazing, and the price is so good. We were able to keep the lid from our previous T-fal to use with this replacement.

This egg pan is brilliant! Try to find a better quality pan that beats it at 4x the cost. Shop around. I can't find an egg pan with a lid for under $35! When I bought this pan, I pretty much accepted that I've lowered my expectations on the quality of an $8 pan with a lid. Wanna know what I really got? Although this is a purposely TINY pan, it had some serious weight to it! The glass lid has a perfect seal, an easy to grab handle, and a steam hole! The handle of the pan is solid and secure. The bottom side of the pan has engraved circles for even heat distribution, that's something that you see on pretty decent quality pans. The inside of the pan is smooth as glass and the enamel is tough. It's also perfect for melting butter or toasting seasonings. To properly egg my way: Heat tiny pan(s) to medium. Add a bloop of butter. Crack 1-2 eggs into the pan. Add salt, pepper, or other seasonings. Pour 2 tablespoons of water around the outer edge of the eggs into a full circle. Close lid onto pan. Turn heat to medium low. Wait. If you're a kitchen ninja you can flip them. It's easier with confidence running through your veins. When the whites are cooked through, they are done. The yolks are just beginning to set, and will keep setting after you remove them from heat for another minute or two. If they are too set up, lower the heat on your stove accordingly for the next time. If you like your yolks hard, then get it over with and just have scrambled eggs. Place your beautiful perfectly round eggs onto an English muffin, toast, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, noodles, curries etc! A snap to clean up. Eat first though, so the pan doesn't warp and the eggs get cold. Buy two of these. Buy one for someone you love. Buy one for the people who don't cook, as it's to enticing not to want to use it! Buy it for the cooks in your life. Buy one for busy morning breakfasts on the way out the door. Treat yourself!
