Better for Less than 50lbs in my opinon

I guess I might recommend it, my daughter it 52.6lbs and that fell with in age and weight. However no matter how tight i tried to make it buckle it still kept going up to her mouth. It would not stay put or keep her above water very well at all. Maybe other kids it works well. Other kids at the pool party had same thing but different designs and of course they were smaller than her.
