Excellent Taste

Sweet onions are an excellent addition to so many meals. They can be used raw or cooked. They are firm and not mush at least when we buy them individually instead of by the bag. The individual onions are usual more expensive, and sometimes a better value, because the bags seem to almost always contain one that is very bruised or overripe and mushy.

nice sweet and u WILL NOT TEAR UP.

at 1st I was dissapointed as I wanted a Vidalia sweet onion but received this, and it wasn't as big. then I read the tag and laughed it says will Not make you cry or eyes water something like that. I thought yeah right as I will tear up 2 rooms away when someone chops onions. but it was right, no tears and the taste was great a sweet crunch added to my veggie burger and families meat burgers. my youngest normally notva onion fan asked for more.

It's A Yellow Onion!

When I am working on a recipe and it calls for minced onion, I can either used my dried minced or I can chop up a fresh onion very fine. I have done both and these sweet onions seem to work for me when I want to chop up my own. The flavor and the texture usually are always what I need.
