When you first take it out of the package it takes a little while to get it flat since it's curled up in there. It's got the gel feel to it. It's not soft squishy it's a gel squishy you feel. Really makes a different on my hard kitchen chair. It fits well to my legs and bottom.

This chair cushion is just the right size to fit on most standard office chairs. The grips on the bottom keep the cushion in place throughout the day.
