Got this for a gift but it was so nice we kept it and purchased another one. Very easy to use. Watch Youtube videos to see how a few different people use these to easily make sushi. Buy already cooked smoked salmon and shrimp for shrimp cocktail to save time. It's ready to go, just add a few extra things like cucumbers, carrots, spice stuff, cream cheese, avocado. You don't have to use seafood. Use your imagination. The knife that comes with this is very good and sharp. Great for beginners. We gave the second one as a gift and the person loved it. You can buy eel sauce or any sauces. Make sure to get "sticky rice". It will make more than you thought it would make when you cook it. Get seaweed, too.

I always thought rice balls were bigger. Nearly palm-sized. Forgoing that this looks ready fo create my first self-made suchi. I have bought the rice and vinegar. The nori I had hunted down sold out, so another selection to have delivered. Soon I'll get to work.
