I'm not sure why I thought this was an emergency blanket but it's an emergency sleeping bag, which tbh is better than a blanket bc it will keep out any wetness better than a loose blanket. lol So I completely unpacked this bivy to inspect it; it has sealed seams to keep in warmth and keep out wetness. The silver lining is of course on the inside to help with that, though during the day you can flip it inside out to reflect the sun to attract help, or if it's hot to reflect heat. This is of course for emergencies, it's the size of a twin bed so it works for one person, possibly an adult with a baby. I do recommend getting this for emergency kits, whether hiking, camping, or weather emergencies, bc you never know when you could use it. This has an emergency whistle and the cinching cord can apparently be used as kindling. The package has English and French.
