Heavy duty & well made bird feeder!

This Metal screen feeder I expect to last for a while. Unlike most of the other bird feeders I have, this one is made out of metal, not plastic. This is a tough heavy duty feeder, and because it's made out of metal it's very easy to clean. To fill you just twist the top a little and open it. The bottom has four openings for the seed to come out, and my little birds just love hopping around the base of this. I have several tube feeders but this one allows the clinging birds as well as the cardinals to get seed from as well. I love it's bright yellow color. The screen allows me to easily see from fairly far away the level of seed inside and whether or not I need to fill it. My little birdies empty this one before the tube feeders, so this one has become my little bird's favorite since I have put it out. It holds 2.8 lbs of seed. This one is perfect for anyone who loves to feed their birds especially since the fact that it's made out of metal and the screen part that holds the feed is wide enough inside to really easily get in there and scrub with some hot soapy water when it's time to sanitize the feeders, which I do recommend doing fairly often. And this one can stand up to weather and cleaning and I expect this one to be around for many years to come. I highly recommend this bird feeder.

Use the bird seed recommended

This is a very solid and durable feeder. It is solid metal and no plastic. It is filled from the top and the weight keeps it closed. Nice small bird perches. I used the wrong seed which got wet and did not dry out resulting in rot and germinating bird seed. Helps to follow instruction.

Awesome birdfeeder - I love it and so do the birds

Replaced my birdfeeder with this one as old one didn't hold a lot of food and difficult for birds to land on and feed --This new feeder holds tons of food and all sizes of birds can feed from it without difficulty - Great product !!
