For kittens/pregnant cats: begin by feeding the suggested daily amount. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian. For nursing cats: Keep food available at all times. Feeding this food for the first time? Mix increasing amounts of your pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period. When using with canned food, decrease the amount of dry food to avoid over feeding. Keep fresh water available at all times! We recommend that you take your pet to the veterinarian at least twice a year for regular health check-ups. Protect from moisture. Store in a cool, dry place.

Best Kitten Food Around!!
I recently adopted 2 kittens from the shelter. When my girl got to come home, she started having very loose, bloody stool. The shelter treated her for a possible parasite but when we brought her back home, the same thing happened. Next we took her to the vet who put her on some more medicine and requested a stool sample. We used to feed my dog Science Diet before she passed. It was the only dog food she'd eat, so we decided to try it out with my kittens. Just like that, the blood was gone. My kittens are both healthier than ever! We lost 3 weeks with my sweet girl and spent over $55 for no reason. We should've gone with Science Diet from the beginning!

A new generation
Now on my second set of cats being raised on Hill's Science Diet. Our first set (two--male and female) were raised on kitten--adult--longevity--kidney special in old age. They lived to age 11 and 15 respectively. Now a new set of kittens! Introduced to kitten and thus the journey again begins! Thanks Hill's and Science Diet foods. Looking forward to another long relationship!
