I was very easy to set up - I even let my ten year old and his friend take the lead in setting it up! That's how straightforward it was! I only had to help with batteries in the remote control, which was also easy! They have really enjoyed racing it all over our neighborhood. When asked, they said their favorite part was how fast the car went, the virtual reality part, and the fact that it seemed be able to go from sidewalk to at least pretty short grass. I haven't even been able to snap a pic because they use my smart phone to control it. I will also say that I notice when they are not using it, it's plugged in, so it's ready to go next time! I cannot speak to durability as we have only had it about a week, but so far a boy hit with the neighborhood boys. If I would list a con, it would be that there is no plug included to directly charge it at a wall plug. They suggest using the USB Cord included to plug into a computer, but I'm not having a car plugged into my laptop all the time :) we found an old wall plug adapter and it works fine no big deal. Overall, fun toy, my kids really enjoy it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this car was very entertaining. After chasing the dogs and getting the hang of the remote we had a blast with an obstacle course. We even took this outside and it performed well. It did not do well on grass but it is a race car. The car was very well constructed. The App for your phone was incredibly easy to download and sync with the car. The goggles take a little getting used to but the effort is well worth it. My son and I thought it was really cool to see from the perspective of the toy! Easy, no assembly toy. If you have the batteries handy it's one of those toys you can take out of the box and immediately play with. Everything in the photo is what comes in the box. Yes, it even came charged. It would not surprise me if this was the top, must have toy of the season.
