Michelin® safety shoes are made with high quality rubber outsoles combining both excellent slip resistant and wear qualities.A key comfort feature of the XPX761 is its contoured removable orthotic TPU insole that is excellent for those seeking arch support. The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming out features. The rigid TPU material helps provide underfoot support in the arch area.In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413 Impact & Compression standards, the Michelin® XPX761 work boot also has an ASTM F2413 compliant metatarsal guard helping provide extra protection to the instep area along with the toes.XPX761 also complies with ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.

This is the fourth pair of these boot I have purchased, first time from shoebacca/ Walmart. They last me a year working in a steel mill. Very comfortable for metatarsals. Have paid as much as 170$ so this is the best deal I have found at 130$. Arrived a couple days late but what the heck it was free shipping, very pleased.

I am an apprentice farrier and after being stepped on by a Clydesdale a few weeks before ordering these I had to learn quickly that ordinary steel toed boots will not be enough to protect my feet in case of a repeat offense. These boots are incredibly comfortable - I am on my feet all day. I am a woman and I usually wear a women's size 9 to 9 1/2 - the men's size 7 1/2 works perfectly fine for me!
