Disappointed by reality

6090 disappointing
After poor life of several 4090 series printers we kept the faith in Epson and stepped up to the 6090 having been recommended for its "increased productivity" and heavier build. Unfortunately, while obviously a beefier version, the productivity is worse as it will only print envelopes at about half the speed of the 4090s and solid areas of print show unacceptable banding except on the highest quality setting whereas the 4090s prints were acceptable even at medium quality settings. People with low expectations and no point of reference may find this satisfactory, we don't. Sorry to say I think we're done with Epson.

Wish I Could Return It
I bought this printer 2 months ago and I really wish I could return it. The screen on the printer isn't user friendly and neither is the installation (for MacBook users, anyway). Just trying to get the printer installed properly has been a massive pain. Ugh.
