Thick paper, relaxing designs.
This is an excellent coloring book. The paper is really thick - thick enough to use oil pastels. It's not pastel paper, you can't build color very much but you can mix 2 colors of pastels, which is impressive for a coloring book. The designs are nice. Many of them are quite simple, which I like. I don't love overly complicated images with a lot of small portions to be colored in. I'm using this to relax and when there's too much work to complete an image it feels like work. The book comes with 32 pages and 1 image on each page; the back of the page is empty. The paper is thick enough that I've used it for drawing paper and other projectos.
