Leaking Valve
It started to leak randomly after a few months. I installed it in my basement and had no issue for 4 months. Then all of a sudden the plastic valve started to leak and wrecked the drywall and baseboards. I'm not sure why/how? maybe some sort of water pressure change in the house, but nothing new in my house happened to change the pressure.

Not impressed with the design.
the filter body should be upright instead of horizontal. the filter is designed to be run vertically. the lower portion of the filter stand forces the installation to be run horizontally. and the "automatic counter reset" doesn't work.

No drain, no deal.
Nice, good flow, but no drain. So when it sticks ON (in the 3rd week of ownership), that good flow rapidly floods your floors, until you can find a flat-faced bucket or trash can, dash to your breaker panel, find the right breaker, and flip it off. Without a drain, this thing's an accident waiting to happen. We've sustained two $50K+ flooding instances in the last 5 years. Our insurance won't sustain another.
