I have to admit I was hesitant to purchase because we all know about kids playing ball in the house! This basketball caught the eye of my son so I thought we'd give it a try. It's pretty amazing. It's not completely silent, of course but silent enough for me. It has great bounce and is a good size. Makes a great gift!

Great idea

It feels like a nerf but does actually bounce like a regular basketball. This is for two new basketballers and this makes their parents happy- it is quiet, [I think] it won't knock pictures off the wall, and they get practice inside when outside is cold and rainy.

Grandson loved it

This was a Christmas gift for one of my grandson's. It was just what he wanted and he was very happy with it. The ball is very quiet and besides softer texture of outside of ball the weight and performance are similar enough to regular basketball for my grandson to quietly practice indoors on his ball handling skills when it's too cold to go outside this winter.
