I looked at a street sign about 300 yards away and was able to see it clearly with these binoculars. Also it is easy to use these binoculars with eyeglasses, i used them without removing my sunglasses. Finally, the rubber eye-cups are great, extending and retracting easily. One word of caution, these binoculars are 10X which means that it can be hard to hold them steady. But if the user can, you get a super view for the money. They compare favorably with european binoculars costing many times this amount.
