Sugar free "Juicy Fruit Fruity Chews" chewing gum is a better option when I'm really craving something sugary! It's not a low calorie option. But unlike sugary gum, sugar free chewing gum helps prevent tooth decay by increasing saliva production, which washes away food debris %26 neutralizes acids produced by bacteria.  It's a little pricey for chewing gum, but the bag contains 120 pieces which lasts a really long time. Unfortunately, my local Walmart stopped selling this gum, so online purchase is my best option.

Nice to know that some things never change!! Daddy always had a pack of Juicy Fruit gum in his pocket when I was growing up. We thought we were special when he'd pull out two sticks, tear them in half, and give each of us our half. That was many years ago. He wasn't greedy by any means. A pack had five sticks, and there were four of us kids, and we all knew we were loved ❤️ Daddy is gone now, but the flavor of Juicy Fruit remains the same. I can still 'see his sweet smile' every time I put a half-piece in my mouth.
