Please read!! I solved the issue!!

I had the same issue as everyone else with clothes catching on the edge, but after further investigation I learned from a YouTube video that the lint filter is not the issue, it's the excess lint that builds up UNDER the fliter. It only requires the removal of approximately four screws, remove the entire casing out, clean all the lint out then it will sit flush again like new!! Just search YouTube. It's not LG's fault whatsoever

Happy filter! Happy life!

My filter was worn out! Yep, I do a lot of laundry, I really needed a new filter. When I checked the LG site, it was easy to find my model number and place my order. The order arrived in good time, and the filter was not bent, cracked or damaged in any way. I'm happy and my dryer is too!
