This rug is super soft! I have two girls that have very heavy feet when they walk, and we live in the upper unit of a duplex . This rug helps reduce the sound of their footsteps when they play. Obviously, it’s not big enough to cover the whole room, but it’s bigger than what I had anticipated for their play area (I folded ours almost halfway in the photo). The rug is more on the thin side but that is why it’s a washable rug. Any thicker than what it is, you probably won’t be able to throw it in the washer. I would recommend a bottom padding if you like additional cushion.

I just moved into a new apartment and the floors are all hardwood. I wanted to buy a rug to keep my toes warm in the morning in my bedroom. I am pleasantly surprised by how soft this rug is! I like how simple it is and the shade of gray. If you plan on using it in the living room, I’d recommend a rug pad to prevent it from moving. Overall, given how affordable this rug is, I’d highly recommend it!
