My two year old little boy loves this electric train set so much as a Christmas gift. It's easy to install and set up. The sound is powerful and the train is with light as described. We put under the Christmas tree and it works well. The train used 4 pieces of battery and the control used two. My son loves it.

My daughter loves the idea of a train going around a track, but the steam part does not work, nothing will come out when we put in the 10ml of water with the bottle. The cars are also very hard to get just right onto the track in order for it to move.
