Sumitomo ST900 11R22.5 146Y H Commercial Tire

I bought ten of these tires for my old military 6x6 that I use as a farm truck. The new tires came with new liners and tubes. These Sumitomos are way more tire than the original military NDTs that were on the truck. The ten tires add a thousand pounds of unsprung weight to the truck, are only slightly taller, and change the driving character of the truck more than I thought they would. I broke down the old tires and I stalled the new tires on the original lock ring wheels myself. That was a lot of work but went ok. Overall I am pleased with the purchase. I haven't used the tires much yet so I will update my review after I have had them a while and put them to use (plowing snow, hauling road gravel, around the farm, etc.) Simpletire is always great to work with. I had an issue at checkout and customer service took care of it, made me feel like they value customers and want to provide good service.

The tires are slightly larger and a lot heavier than the original military tires which changed the driving characteristics of the truck more than I expected. They add a thousand pounds of unsprung weight to my truck, that should help traction. The tires seem to be well made and have great traction. They came with new tubes and liners. I mounted them myself on the original lock ring style wheels. That was a lot of work. I have not used them much yet so I will update the review once I have more details from use(plowing snow, hauling driveway gravel, summer, winter, etc.).
