Top-of-Stove Directions: 1. In medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water, 1 tbsp margarine (optional) and contents of package to a boil. (Try using I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Spread or Country Crock Spread.) 2. Stir. Reduce heat to medium low & simmer covered 7 minutes or until rice is tender. 3. Let stand at least 2 minutes. Stir and serve. Microwave Directions: In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine 2-1/4 cups water, 1 tbsp margarine (optional) and contents of package. Microwave uncovered at high about 12 minutes (Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Directions above developed in a 1200 watt microwave oven) or until rice is tender, stirring once halfway through cooking. Stir and serve.

sorry that Walmart is out of stock (for long time). this is a tasty side dish. i usually add some veggies, like 'mixed' or frozen green beans/small chop carrots, whatever. use boullion or chicken/veg broth as part of the water for better flavor. quick/easy/tasty.

Perfect amount of mushroom flavor! 🍄🟫
This rice is awesome! I usually pair this with some sort of meat, but it can be eaten as a meal in itself because it is so filling! There are mushroom pieces mixed in with the rice which gives it the perfect flavor. It's super simple to make. Just boil 2 cups of water with an optional Tbsp. of butter and add the mix. All it needs to do is boil, then simmer for 7 minutes. Super simple and quick to make! I will continue to buy this Knorr side dish, as it was a family staple in my household growing up and continues to be a mealtime tradition.

My 8 year old loves this and hes a picky eater. I started eating this back on 2004 and fell in love with it. Although this item has changed a bit over the years, its still a great side or even main dish!
