- You don’t want to lift a 60lb air conditioner, so we’ve included 4 easy-rolling casters and integrated side handles for your convenience. The 4 ft. exhaust hose and window venting kit are also easily transferable from room to room, and adjustable for windows 24” to 36”. Love it
I found The Amana 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner to be quite powerful. I use it in my bedroom, it not only gets cold quickly but keeps my room cool. I love the convenience of having a remote control that also has a timer. The window attachment fits perfectly and It is not too loud and does not interrupt our sleep.

Blows cold air
This portable air conditioner blows cold air. It is fairly quiet and efficient for the small office space I’m using it in. I like that it is portable so if my home AC went out and I needed this unit to cool a bedroom or small room until I could get my unit repaired, it will be sufficient. It has a remote control which is nice. It has an internal condensation reservoir that alerts you when it needs to be emptied. It can also be used as a dehumidifier. It comes with everything you need to get set up.

My living room, kitchen and dinning room are basically all the same room. The last machine we had was twice the size and was half as effective. This keeps it too cold for my liking. Wife likes it cold.
