Panasonic NI-WL700A Cordless Steam/Dry Iron, 1500W Wide Stainless Steel Plate, Blue

I've always hated dealing with the cord when ironing, since its job seems to be to, well, prevent ironing completely. That said, I didn't consider purchasing a cordless iron until recently, when I started quilting again and remembered how much ironing is involved. I'm so glad I did! This is the best tool I can imagine for any kind of fabric creativity. It never gets too hot in the cradle, and holds its heat plenty long enough for any seam. With the built-in tap water decalcifier, the detachable water tank is easy to fill at the sink and holds enough for tons of steam. It only took a short time to get in the habit of recradling the iron, especially since its double-ended plate prevents setting it down like my old irons. The cradle is designed so well that the iron slides automatically into the dock for heating. I can't think of anything i would design differently. Buy it.

I wanted an iron without a cord! After reading the reviews, I thought this was just another misleading, false reviewed item! Well... I am surprised! I used to never iron my clothes! Now, I iron at least 3 times a week just to use it!
