The new five times zoom system yields a wide field of view and powerful ranging capabilities. Front focal plane reticle allows you to accurately compute distances at any magnification while giving you both trajectory and windage reference points. Accurate and repeatable 1/4 MOA adjustments allow for fine-tuning and side adjustable parallax lets you instantly adjust while maintaining your shooting position. The Varmint reticle provides a very precise platform for measuring distance and determining target size by providing MOA tick marks across the horizontal crosshair and across the upper portion of the vertical crosshair. Trajectory compensation has been calculated out to 700 yards with wind dots representing a 10 MPH wind adjustment at every hash mark below the vertical center point. Love this reticle!
This scope make the long hunting shots a possibility. After mounting the scope on a new .308 and shooting over a weekend, my first predator hunt was a success taking down a coyote at 520 yards! Burris has done all the homework on this one. The holdovers are not at 100 yard incriminates, but as long as you know where they fall in your ready. The windage marks are irreplaceable when taking these shots knowing I've held up to 20+ inches at 400-600 yards. Great scope for beginner or advanced.

Making things possible
The moment I saw the first focal plane feature on this scope, along with the reticle, I knew I had to have it. All the adjustments on this scope are of the best quality, build, and feel. I purchased the m.a.d system and I am very excited to get some custom knobs for this scope. This is by far the clearest scope I have ever owned. It gathers light beautifully and I feel like I can really push the limits with this scope. I am using it for long range on a 6.5 creedmoor and it has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely buy it again, and recommend it to a friend. I own 4 burris scopes, and they are by far the best scopes out there for the money.

I bought the scope almost 2 months ago now, and I love it. I mounted it on my .300 win mag and the glass is crystal clear, tracking is true and the turret clicks are getting more positive. The clicks started a little "soft" but the more I use them the more they feel like they are getting broke in almost. Ive compared it side to side with the XTR II 5-25×50 and other than the reticle, you cant tell a difference when looking through them. I wish burris would offer a couple different reticle designs in this model but I for sure will be buying more of these scopes.
