It kept my cough under control without leaving me feeling a little green because of a overly medicated like hangover. It doesn't make you sleepy either. Now, i used this cough medicine to get rid of a cough only. I wasn't congested at all. I loved the taste, wasn't a gross medicine taste, it was nice grape flavor. Im 47 %26 I still don't like anything that has a bad flavor. My stepdad also had a relentless cough but hes a typical man who won't try ANYTHING that might help anything that is bothering him. However, he gave in %26 to keep my mom off his butt, he tried this. He was pleasantly surprised @ how well this kept his cough under control %26 finally got rid of. Hes 67 %26 doesn't like anything that tastes awful either %26 he loved this grape flavor also. This is a Great Buy

I've tried all the things for this never ending cough. Decided to try Delsym and it will now be my go to for cough medicine. It doesn't taste all that great (kind of like when you were younger and you thought you were being punished for being sick because you were forced to take the nasty meds...welp, this is the same thing but adult version). BUT it is the only medicine that has actually let me fall asleep and for the most part stay asleep.
