I used a rooster tail on it and wondered if I would be able to cast exactly where I want with such a light lure, I usually use a baitcaster reel. I was pleasantly surprised that it landed perfectly every time. Spent 10 hours kayak fishing, never got hung up or lost my bait. I actually pulled up a 7" rod and reel with it at one point from the muddy bottom. Great reel, my baitcasters have some competition because the bass liked this. I have heard the Bullet is heavy but I got the Bullet MG and even with arthritis in my hands, I had no problem with it. Zebco hit it on the head with this one!
