Rice Crispy Treats are convenient for boxed lunches or quick snack on the go. Brings back good childhood memories and friends. They are fresh. Shelf life is approx. 1 1/2 years according to the date stamp on the box. They don't taste exactly 'homemade' but taste similarly good. No gooey mess to clean up although the fun of making them together with kids/family is lost. Far less carbs and sugar than individually wrapped snack cakes or brownies and about the same- sugar/carbs as a serving of most store-bought cookies.

I have loved rice crispy treats for a long time now. I've introduced my grands to them and the love continues. This treat is satisfying when you don't want anything too sweet and heavy. Doesn't have a lot of ingredients we're not supposed to have when indulging.

I definitely would recommend these. The price point is amazing. You get a lot for your book. It's great for an afternoon snack. You can top them with some sprinkles or some fruit like raspberries or strawberries. Drizzle some chocolate on them hand out to trick-or-treaters ! I've bought these for years and will continue to buy them
