I have previously used a lower cost competitors lanolin product for many years with good success. I bought this product with hopes that it will resist was off more successfully. It does cost more that my previous product. Much thinner than fluid film, no need to warm before spraying. So far I'm am very happy.

Surface Shield
Picked some of this up before winter to do one of my cars to help keep salt and rust corrision down. So far it's been decent. I can tell that the layer it creates on surfaces has been a repellant to moisture and salt. So far so good.

Lube and shield!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Blaster products, and this Surface Shield is one of the best rust protectants I've tried. I used it on my garage door hinges, tools, and undercarriage parts, and it leaves a nice, even coating that protects well against moisture. It doesn't dry up or wash off easily like some other sprays. The only downside is that it has a bit of an oily feel, so I recommend wiping off the excess if you're applying it indoors or on parts you handle frequently. Otherwise, this stuff is a great value and really does what it claims—long-lasting rust protection.
