it's stouffers whatdya expect?
I enjoy stouffers lasagna so I figured I'd branch out to see what else they have. These enchiladas are good for being frozen. I wasn't expecting homemade flavor but these weren't the worst. the tortillas do get kind of hard after being in the oven so eating with a knife would be recommended. the rice gets stuck to the bottom of the enchiladas and some just disappears which isn't what is advertised. I thought there would be more rice and that it could be scooped out and enjoyed next to the enchiladas not hidden underneath them needing to be scraped off. the cheese doesn't melt right so it looks undercooked when it is fully done. I prefer these to the chicken ones they have. those lacked flavor but it's chicken compared to beef- beef always is always more flavorful. I'm always looking for something to keep in my freezer other than lasagna or burritos so I would keep a box on hand for those lazy days. it does take 70 minutes to cook so be prepared this isn't a quick meal it does take some planning and patience. but overall, I would recommend and would buy again.

They were way drier than I expected really could've used more sauce....... the rice was minimal,,, hardly any with each serving.. It had good taste but not enough mositure..... the inside was a sort of shredded beef wtih spices cooked down with black beans.... the tortillas very dry, not normal tortillas.. From the texture I think its a corn and flour dough that they cut into strips and roll...... It is good, but if you buy it.. may I suggest getting some chili sauce or extra enchie sauce of some sort. to put on while baking
